This photo of my daughter Ashley was taken around 1990.  It is one of my favoriates!  Ashley has been such a joy and a blessing to me. 

Ashley Loved dressing up when she was a little girl.  The more frills the better for twirling!!  She would even wear her beautiful dress's to kindergarden.  Her favoriate movie was Cinderella.

A great start to a new year 2010!

The Coleman family is happy and healthy! Both Ashley and Paul are processing with police departments for full time jobs and Glen is doing well in his. Zach will be starting high school this fall which is very exciting! I am very grateful to have made it through yet another round of lay offs at my job! I will begin commuting to the plant in LA starting in June. What an adventure!! I thought I would share some of my family photos below.

This is a photo taken in June 2008 on our Alaskan Cruise. It is one of my favorite pictures of my parents.

Paul and Zach.... Even though there is a 6 year difference in age, they are still good buddies. This photo was taken after Paul's high school graduation June 2008.

Glen bought me beautiful roses and chocolate covered strawberries for my 41st birthday in June of 2009. What a guy!!

Ryan off to Navy bootcamp!

We spent the afternoon seeing our sweet neighbor Ryan off to Navy bootcamp. He was Pauls best friend growing up. We are so pround of him.

Below is Ryan and his family. He is the oldest of 3. They are great neighbors.

Birthday Blessings

We celebrated Glens 42nd birthday this month and had a wonderful family dinner. The picture below is of my husband Glen and 18 year old son Paul.

Glen gave me these pretty flowers for valentines day. I thought they were so beautiful.

Fun at the Gourmet Detective.

We went to the Gourmet Detective to celebrate my parents anniversary. We had a blast!

 

I had my family take a picture of one of the actress's with me. They work very hard during the show. They even serve the dinner.

Grandma and Grandpa Lane before they were married. (my moms parents) These are the pictures they sent each other before they actually met in person. (My grandparents are from England) My grandfather was away in the WW2 at the this time. They were introduced through a friend via pen pal. They were both in their 20's. I would say these pictures were taken around 1940.

My beautiful mom in 1965.. She was born in England and moved to Canada when she was 4 where they spent a few years before moving to America.

My handsome dad in 1963.. He was born and raised in Minnesota until the age of 18 when he joined the US Navy. If you notice at the bottom of the picture, my dad signed "lots of love"... This was the photo he gave my mom while they were dating... They met while he was in the Navy. My dad is quite the poet.. He has written many poems of love for my mom.. What a romantic he is!

I watched Pride and Prejudice last night... GREAT MOVIE!

Grandma and Grandpa Lane

My Grandma and Grandpa Lane in Newport Beach 1958. My Grandfather was a carpenter and he worked on some real nice yachts in Newport.

My Grandfather also loved mining for gold! Here is a picture of him out at his mine in 1968 (the year I was born) Looks like he found a good rock.
