Grandma and Grandpa Lane before they were married. (my moms parents) These are the pictures they sent each other before they actually met in person. (My grandparents are from England) My grandfather was away in the WW2 at the this time. They were introduced through a friend via pen pal. They were both in their 20's. I would say these pictures were taken around 1940.

My beautiful mom in 1965.. She was born in England and moved to Canada when she was 4 where they spent a few years before moving to America.

My handsome dad in 1963.. He was born and raised in Minnesota until the age of 18 when he joined the US Navy. If you notice at the bottom of the picture, my dad signed "lots of love"... This was the photo he gave my mom while they were dating... They met while he was in the Navy. My dad is quite the poet.. He has written many poems of love for my mom.. What a romantic he is!

Grandma and Grandpa Lane

My grandmother in her backyard in Costa Mesa 1963. Along side of her is my moms poodle GiGi.

My Grandma and Grandpa Lane in Newport Beach 1958. My Grandfather was a carpenter and he worked on some real nice yachts in Newport.

My Grandfather also loved mining for gold! Here is a picture of him out at his mine in 1968 (the year I was born) Looks like he found a good rock.

Here is my grandfather in 1958 on a yacht he did some work on. (Baldwins yacht)

Family is special.....

My beautiful sister and her family at Daves soccer club dinner. Regan is almost 17 years of age. She is almost all grown up :)

My sister and I in the early days (around 1971) with grandma Lanes wigs on. Oh how we loved tromping up and down her long hallway with her high heals on.. She had such a collection of shoes and jewelry... Our grandma is such a lady!! My grandfather loved his garden.. As you can see how lush it was in the back ground.
